Round 3 of Balkan League was played last night and Feni Industri managed to registered second victory. The last season runner-up in FYR Macedonia did not have to work very hard in order to beat Mornar Bar at home 85-69. It means that Feni jumped to 2-1 in Group B, while the Montenegrin squad dropped to 1-2. It means that Feni jumped to 2-1 in Group B, while the Montenegrin squad dropped to 1-2. Bojan Trajkovski (206-C/F-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) was the leading player in this victory scoring 14 points and pulling down 9 rebounds. Dusan Knezevic (207-C-80, agency: BeoExcell) also had very important role registering double-double, 13 points and 11 rebounds. James Life (194-G-83, college: Massachusetts) was third scorer in Feni with 12 pts. In Mornar, Anthony Brown (203-F-86, college: Oklahoma St.) answered with 15 points and 7 boards. Round 4 is scheduled for December 2 and Feni will meet Spartak Pleven also at home. Mornar will take on undefeated Beograd as a guest. The other FYR Macedonian representative in BIBL, champion Rabotnicki, lost 0-20 against Gaz Metan. Rabotnicki did not show up at the Gaz Metan home court and they lost this game with the official result 0-20. That means that Gaz Metan stays unbeaten in Group A with perfect 3-0. Rabotnicki dropped to 1-2 and it remains to be seen will they be fined for no showing up in Romania. The team In the next round, Rabotnicki supposes to play against Cherno More in Bulgaria.

Rilski Sport - Cherno More 88-77 Rilski Sportist (1-1) outplayed Cherno More in Bulgarian derby mostly owing to Travis Peterson (208-C-85, agency: Edge Sports, college: Samford), who drained 27 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. Aleksandar Gruev (187-G-83) had 19 and David Burgess helped with 14 pts, plus 10 boards. Cherno More (1-2) got 20 pts and 11 boards from Krum Doychinov.

Group B
Beograd - Steaua Turabo 85-70 Beograd remains the only unbeaten team after 3 games in Group B. Nikola Lepojevic (199-F-82) led the hosts with 19, Dragan Kruscic (198-F-86) had 15, while Milos Suzic added 14 pts, plus 11 boards. Steaua (0-3) had Dragoslav Papic on fire with 23 pts.
Spartak P. - Levski 79-91 It was another Bulgarian derby in Round 3 of BIBL and Levski made it against Spartak Pleven on the road. Donald Cole (204-C-81, agency: Edge Sports, college: Sam Houston St.) was a key player in this victory with 26 points. Bobby Frasor (191-G-86, agency: Interperformances, college: N.Carolina) had 16 and Aaron Harper added 14 pts. In the loosing squad, Rob Preston and Iliya Stankov netted 16 points each. Both teams had 1-1 before this game.
Feni Indistrija - Mornar Bar 85-69 Feni Indistrija had an easy job against Mornar Bar jumping to 2-1 in Group B. Bojan Trajkovski (206-C/F-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) top-scored for the hosts with 14 (9 rebs), Dusan Knezevic (207-C-80, agency: BeoExcell) had 13 (11 rebs), while James Life added 12 points in this victory. Jarrett Howell (188-G-84, agency: Beo Basket, college: Texas Arlington) once again was a key player in victory scoring 24 points. Ivan Zigeranovic (212-C-84, agency: Beo Basket) nailed 16 pts and grabbed 6 boards, while Deven Mitchell added 15 pts and 11 boards. In Cherno More (1-1), Eric Webb collected 21 pts, 5 rebs and 6 assists.

Beograd - Levski 103-100 OT Second win for Beograd, who becomes the only unbeaten team in Group B after two appearances. It was a 103-100 overtime win for the hosts, who got 28 points and 5 rebounds from Nikola Lepojevic (199-F-82). Dragan Kruscic (198-F-86) scored 24, Dragan Mitrovic had 20 and Branko Andzic added 16 pts, plus 7 rebs. Donald Cole shined in loss draining 28 points.
Steaua Turabo - Feni Indistrija 64-70 Feni Indistrija grabbed valuable 64-70 road win in Bucharest as it was the game between two teams who failed in Round 1. Dusan Knezevic (207-C-80, agency: BeoExcell) led the hosts with double-double, 13 points and 12 rebounds, while James Life (194-G-83, college: Massachusetts), Vlado Popovic and Bojan Trajkovski also scored 13 pts each. In Steaua, Monty Mack responded with 23 points and 7 boards.
Spartak P. - Mornar Bar 77-60 Spartak Pleven celebrated comfortable 77-60 win against Mornar Bar, thus both teams are on 1-1 now in Group B. Rob Preston (207-F/C-82, college: Akron) stepped up for the hosts with 18, Joseph Kennerly (204-C/F-84, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management, college: Cent.Oklahoma) had 17 pts and 10 boards, while Veselin Georgiev helped with 11 pts.
