There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader.

Undefeated Israeli Galil Gilboa (5-1) recorded its first loss in Samokov on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by third ranked Bulgarian Rilski Sportist (4-2) 72-70. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Galil Gilboa. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Galil Gilboa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian power forward Filip Vukosavljevic (205-83) chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Joseph Jones (204-86, college: Texas A&M) who recorded 12 points and 5 rebounds. Galil Gilboa's coach Lior Lubin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rilski Sportist moved-up to second place, which they share with Mornar Bar and Feni Indistrija. Galil Gilboa at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Hapoel T-A. Rilski Sportist is looking forward to face Timisoara (#4) on the road in the next round. Galil Gilboa will play against Mornar Bar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Krusevac. Second ranked Israeli Hapoel Tel-Aviv (5-1) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 4th ranked Serbian Napredak Rubin (2-4) 82-80 on Tuesday evening. It was a good game for American point guard Demontez Stitt (186-89, college: Clemson) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Curtis Kelly contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Slaven Cupkovic (205-88) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for Napredak Rubin. Napredak Rubin's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Hapoel Tel-Aviv keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Galil Gilboa. Napredak Rubin at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with OKK Beograd and Timisoara. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against league's leader Levski Sofia at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Napredak Rubin will play against Feni Indistrija in Kavadarci and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
A very close game took place in Kavadarci between FYR Macedonian Feni Indistrija and Montenegrin Ulcinj. Third ranked Feni Indistrija (4-2) got a very close home victory over 5th ranked Ulcinj (1-5). Feni Indistrija managed to escape with a 1-point win 81-80 on Wednesday evening. Ivan Lilov scored 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Feni Indistrija's coach Emil Rajkovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Boban Medenica with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Defending FYR Macedonian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Mornar Bar and Rilski Sportist. Ulcinj lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Torus Skopje. Feni Indistrija will meet Napredak Rubin (#4) in the next round. Ulcinj will play against Zrinjski HT in Mostar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Zrinjski HT at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Levski Sofia's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Hapoel Tel-Aviv on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zrinjski HT will play against Ulcinj (#5) in Ulcijn and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 6 Timisoara defeated OKK Beograd in a road game 84-75. OKK Beograd beat Torus Skopje at home 87-81.

The game with biggest result difference took place in Bar. Local Mornar Bar (4-2) beat 5th ranked FYR Macedonian Torus Skopje (1-5) 84-68 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Mornar Bar. Torus Skopje was better in third quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Turkish center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) who scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian Ivan Jelenic (190-85, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Five Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Serbian OKK Beograd (2-4) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Romanian Timisoara (2-4) 84-75 on Tuesday. OKK Beograd trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 23-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 75-84 at the end of the game. Timisoara shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was Bosnian point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Croatian swingman Ivan Siriscevic (198-87) chipped in 22 points and 5 steals. Four Timisoara players scored in double figures.
