Aleksandar Radulovic (207-C-84) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Teodo Tivat and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 28-year old center had a double-double of 18 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat OKK Beograd (#10, 0-3) 80-70. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Teodo Tivat won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Radulovic turned to be Teodo Tivat's top player in his first season with the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 32-year old point guard Christoforos Stefanidis (184-PG-80) of Kavala. Stefanidis impressed basketball fans with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Kavala lost that game 74-79 to Kozuv (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Stefanidis is one of the most experienced players at Kavala and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Teodo Tivat's star - Savo Djikanovic (211-C-75, agency: Beo Basket). Djikanovic showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was another key player of Teodo Tivat, helping his team with a 80-70 win against OKK Beograd (#10, 0-3). Teodo Tivat has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Djikanovic also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Djikanovic as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Uros Lukovic (212-C-89) of Kumanovo - 16 points and 11 rebounds
5. Aleksandar Shterjov (208-C-86) of Kozuv - 15 points and 8 rebounds
6. Marino Sarlija (207-C/F-89) of Djuro Djakovic - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Yaniv Green (204-C-80) of Galil Gilboa - 8 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Aleksandar Kostoski (186-G-88) of Kumanovo - 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Nikola Jeftic (202-F-85) of OKK Beograd - 13 points and 11 rebounds
10. Marko Mijovic (188-PG-87) of Teodo Tivat - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Danilo Mijatovic is back with MZT Skopje - 2 days ago
The saga that lasted nearly a month is finally over as defending champion KK MZT Skopje Aerodrom gets the permission to put Danilo Mijatovic (206-F/C-83) to their roster. The experienced Power Forward joined KK Kumanovo 2009 at the start of the season, from KK MZT Skopje Aerodrom, but despite being their best player averaging 18.9ppg and 5.8rpg in Prva Liga and 19.2ppg and 5.0rpg in BIBL the financial problems forced Kumanovo and Mijatovic to part ways. As said before, for Danilo Mijatov...   [read more]

Round 1 of Semi-Finals. Peja and Beroe celebrate wins - 4 days ago
Peja - Kumanovo 83-79 Peja overcame Kumanovo to take a narrow lead before the return leg. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kumanovo won third quarter 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Peja looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Montenegrin forward Slobodan Miljanic (201-90, college: Lynn, agency: AproK Sports Group) fired 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Al...   [read more]

Round 2 of Quarter-Finals. Peja and Teodo Tivat punch semifinal tickets - 11 days ago
Kozuv - Peja 77-67 Kozuv outgunned Peja at home court but were unable to overcome the deficit after the opening leg and got eliminated. The game was mostly controlled by Kozuv. Peja managed to win second period 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kenyon McNeaill (185-91, college: Louisiana Tech) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and...   [read more]
