23-year old forward Braxton Dupree (203-F-89, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) had a great game in the last round for Rilski Sportist and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team OKK Beograd (#10, 0-4) with 18-point margin 104-86. Rilski Sportist is placed at 8th position in Balkan League group B. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Rilski Sportist will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Dupree turned to be Rilski Sportist's top player in his first season with the team. Towson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dupree is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.7rpg) and averages solid 51.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Terry Smith (185-PG-86). He is American guard in his first season at Rilski Sportist. In the last game Smith recorded impressive 28 points and 7 assists. Of course together with Dupree he helped Rilski Sportist with another comfortable win 104-86 over OKK Beograd (#10, 0-4) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Rilski Sportist to move up to 8th position in group B. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Smith is a newcomer at Rilski Sportist and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.7ppg (#1). He also recorded 4.0 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-G-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) of Kumanovo (#3). Kostoski showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Kumanovo, leading his team to a 83-67 easy win against #4 ranked Djuro Djakovic in a game of the week. Kumanovo needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in group A. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost games. Kostoski has a great season in Balkan League. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.7ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 6.3rpg (7th best) and assists with 5.0apg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Nikolay Varbanov (210-C-85) of Levski Sofia - 25 points and 8 rebounds
5. Ivica Dimcevski (194-G/F-89) of Kumanovo - 24 points and 5 rebounds
6. Milos Djurisic (194-G-88) of Mornar Bar - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Jovan Koprivica (198-G/F-82) of OKK Beograd - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Lazar Radosavljevic (204-F-91) of Mornar Bar - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
