The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Bulgarian Levski Sofia as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Levski Sofia smashed 5th ranked Montenegrin Mornar Bar at home 92-67. The game was mostly controlled by Levski Sofia. Mornar Bar managed to win second period 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Levski Sofia looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Dimitar Dimitrov (202-F-93, agency: Interperformances) who scored 25 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian forward Nikola Rondovic (207-91, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Levski Sofia have a solid series of three victories in a row. Mornar Bar will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path.
