Djikanovic leaves Teodo Tivat - Feb 26, 2013

38-year old center Savo Djikanovic (211-75, agency: Beo Basket) left KK Teodo Tivat (1A). In 14 games he averaged 13.6ppg, 9.4rpg (#2 in the league) and 1.6apg this season. He helped them to make it to the Montenegrin Cup Semifinals. Djikanovic also played 9 games in Balkan League where he was ninth best scorer with impressive 15.2ppg and recorded 6.6rpg (#6 in the league), 2.2apg and 1.6spg (in top 8).
He ended the last season at Etha (Division A) in Cypriot league. He contributed to his team winning the league title. But the most of that year Djikanovic spent at Marousi BC (A1) in Greek league. In two games he had 4.0ppg and 4.0rpg.
Djikanovic ended the previous (10-11) season at Ikaros (A1) in Greek league. But in 7 games he had just 1.3ppg and 2.0rpg. But the most of that year he spent at Achilleas (Division A) in Cypriot league. In 12 games he had 14.8ppg, 10.3rpg (leader !!!) and 1.3apg.
Among other achievements Djikanovic received Eurobasket.com Bosnia and Herzegovina League All-Domestic Players Team award back in 2010.
He has played also professionally in Greece (Olympiacos, Gymnastikos Olympia Larissas and Trikalla), Serbia (Vrsac) and Bosnia (Igokea).
Djikanovic is described as: Very movable player. Good shot for the free throw distance. Great blocker.

27-year old Croatian power forward Stjepan Tesija (206-89). He played last season at Alkar Sinj in Croatian A1 league. In 28 games he recorded 14.8ppg and 7.4rpg. The most of previous (2014-15) season Tesija spent at KK Split (also in A1) where in 21 games he averaged 8.1ppg and 4.4rpg. He also spent pre-season at Vrijednosnice OS (also in A1) that year. BC Beroe (NBL) added to their roster 23-year old Croatian point guard Juraj Segaric (185-93). He played last season at Jolly Jadranska Banka Sibenik in Croatian A1 league. In 11 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 3.8rpg, 5.5apg and 1.9spg.
