Jayon James
American Jayon James (198-F/G-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sutjeska and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage).
The 24-year old swingman had the game-high 24 points adding five rebounds and seven assists for Sutjeska in his team's victory, helping them to beat Kozuv (#7, 1-3) 84-76. Sutjeska is placed at 6th position in Balkan League. Sutjeska is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 2nd lost game this season out of 4 games. In the team's last game James had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American forward Aaron Jones (206-F-93, agency: Two Points) of Beroe. Jones impressed basketball fans with 27 points and 4 rebounds. It was enough for Beroe to edge Feni Industries (1-3) by 1 point 85-84. A very good start of the Second Stage for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Jones is a newcomer at Beroe and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Petar Kusovac (195-F-93, agency: AproK Sports Group) of Teodo Tivat (#10). Kusovac showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, six rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Teodo Tivat, leading his team to a 98-81 easy win against Karpos Sokoli (#12, 1-3). Teodo Tivat needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Kusovac has a very solid season. In 12 games in Balkan League he scored 12.4ppg. He also has 4.7rpg, FGP: 58.9% and 3PT: 42.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Milivoje Mijovic (200-PF-91) of Kozuv - 23 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Filip Sepa (198-SG-90) of Karpos Sokoli - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Cameron Rundles (188-PG-88) of Peja - 25 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Giorgi Sharabidze (210-C-90) of Feni Industries - 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Kenyon McNeaill (185-PG-91) of Kozuv - 27 points and 2 assists
9. Jamie Skeen (205-F-88) of Peja - 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Alban Veseli (202-F-90) of Peja - 22 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
