TU/Rock - Ventspils 77-78 Ventspils narrowly defeated TU/Rock in Tartu to climb at 3-2 record. Janis Strelnieks (191-G-89) drained a decisive three-pointer with just two seconds left to bring Ventspils to the win. He finished with 16 points, 5 boards and 5 assists. Mareks Jurevicus and Dairis Bertans added 14 points each for the winners. Janar Talts responded with 19 points for TU/Rock as they slipped at 1-4 record.
Challenge
Tallinna Kalev - Perlas 75-66 Tallinna Kalev recorded the second victory in the season as they overcame Perlas. Raido Roos (185-G-84) knocked down 19 points for the home team. Nick Covington added 14 points in the victory. Jonas Valanciunas managed 12 points and 6 boards for Perlas.
Neptunas - Keizarmezs 89-50 Neptunas cruised past Keizarmezs to climb at 1-1 record in the ladder. Robertas Bitinas (182-G-84) scored 18 points for Neptunas. Osvaldas Kurauskas delivered 15 points, 6 assists and 4 boards for the Klaipeda team. Armands Osins had 12 points, 6 steals and 5 boards for Keizarmezs.
TTU KK - Rudupis 87-93 Rudupis held off TTU KK on the road. Gintautas Vileita (194-G-75, college: Monmouth) knocked down 25 points and grabbed 6 boards for Rudupis. Vaidotas Pridotkas and Rytis Adomavicius had 18 points each in the win. Joosep Pokla responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds for TTU KK.
Zemgale - Aisciai 68-77 Aisciai remained perfect as they posted the second straight victory. Osvaldas Matulionis (200-F-91) knocked down 15 points to pace balanced Aisciai. Vytenis Lipkevicius and Giedrius Kurtinaitis scored 13 points each for the winners. MAris Gulbis and Janis Bambis responded with 16 points each for Zemgale.
Valga Welg - Sakalai 59-66 Sakalai fired past Valga away from home. Virginijus Sirvydis (196-G/F-73) notched 18 points, 6 boards and 4 steals for the Vilnius team. Ovidijus Varanauskas added 14 points in the winning effort. Ando Tagamets responded with 21 points and 6 boards for Valga.

BC Kalev/Cramo added two new players to its wounded roster. Having played without 4 players, including the starters Rait Keerles and Gregor Arbet, the Estonian champions lost back-to-back games against Zalgiris (by 32 pts in VTB League and by 51 pts in BBL). Having played without 4 players, including the starters Rait Keerles and Gregor Arbet, the Estonian champions lost back-to-back games against Zalgiris (by 32 pts in VTB League and by 51 pts in BBL). Now, Kalev/Cramo added very strong SF Charron Fisher (193-G/F-85, college: Niagara)her (recently played in Vojvodina Novi Sad) and an experienced center Johnson Ken (210-C-78, college: Ohio St.) (recently in China but has played 16 games in NBA!). Both newest additions will make the debut for Kalev/Cramo on next Monday, already, when they host TU/Rock in SEB Baltic League.
On the other hand, Kalev/Cramo waived two players, Jason Miller and Martins Berkis who didn't leave too much an impression on their try-out.

Siauliai - Ventspils 87-85 Siauliai narrowly overcame Ventspils as Deivydas Gailius (200-F-88) fired 33 points. Raitis Grafs added 18 points in the victory. Ventspils answered with 19 points for Ventspils.
Liepaja - Valmiera 69-73 Valmiera overcame a 9-point deficit before the fourth term to knock down Liepaja. Arturas Valeika (206-F-85, college: Midland CC) scored 25 points and grabbed 8 boards for Valmiera. Blaz Cresnar added 12 points and 10 boards in the win. Oleg Kojenets responded with 23 points and 10 boards for Liepajas Lauvas.
Challenge
Aisciai - Tallinna Kalev 66-64 Aisciai opened the Challenge Cup action with a hard-fought home win over Tallinna Kalev. Osvaldas Matulionis (200-F-91) stepped up with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Vytenis Lipkevicius knocked down 15 points for the Kaunas team. Jamaal Moore answered with 23 points for Tallinna Kalev as they slipped at 1-1 record.
Alytus Alita - Zemgale 86-63 Alytus celebrated the first win in the Challenge Cup season as they rolled past Zemgale. Andrius Aleksandrovas (197-G-86) fired 18 points for the hosts. Paulius Kleiza and Vytautas Tatarunas contributed 15 points each in the victory. Maris Gulbis came up with 16 points and 11 boards for Zemgale.
Juventus - Valga Welg 72-75 Juventus started their Baltic League inaugural season with a home loss to Valga. Heiko Rannula (186-G-83) knocked down 22 points to lead the Estonian team. Antti Vasar added 17 points in the win. Paulius Morkeliunas notched 21 points and 8 boards for Juventus in defeat.
Rudupis - Keizarmezs 88-60 Rudupis prevailed against Keizarmezs at home court. Vaidotas Pridotkas (200-F-84) notched 21 points and 7 boards for Rudupis. Gediminas Maceina contributed 13 points as the winners climbed at 2-0 record. Armands Osins replied with 19 points, 5 boards and 4 assists for the Riga outfit.
Suduva - TTU KK 59-88 TTU KK handed Suduva the first loss in the BBL season. Joosep Pokla (198-G-86) tallied 32 points, 8 boards and 5 assists to lead the Estonian team to a comfortable win. Kristo Orula and Joosep Toome added 16 points each in the victory. Aurimas Kieza responded with 13 points and 8 boards in defeat.
Techasas - Norrkoping 72-102 Norrkoping shocked Techasas on the road. George Gervin (189-G-76, college: Houston) netted 22 points and issued 8 assists to lead the Dolphins. Joseph McNaull had 20 points and 12 boards for the winners. Laimonas Lukosevicius managed 15 points for Panevezys.
