The most interesting game of round 4 was a derby match between two teams from Belarus. The game took place in Grodno where top-ranked Gorizont won against host Olimpia GrGAU (1-2) 72-64. Olimpia GrGAU was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Russian-Ukrainian center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (200-89) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Ukrainian guard Victoria Shmatova (170-87) produced 25 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Olimpia GrGAU's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gorizont have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Belarusian champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Olimpia GrGAU at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Gorizont are looking forward to face Berezina-RCOR (#4) in Borisovo in the next round. Olimpia GrGAU will play at home against Berezina-RCOR in Borisovo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Worth to mention a great performance of forward Vita Kuktiene (186-80) who helped to win the game recording 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Mante Kvederaviciute contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. VICI-Aistes' coach Mantas Sernius allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Gabriele Gutkauskaite (172-90) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds for Lemminkainen. VICI-Aistes have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending Lithuanian champion maintains first position with 3-1 record. Lemminkainen at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Tim-Scuf and TTT Riga. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 43-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tim-Scuf made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Berezina-RCOR turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nataliya Gavryliuk (178-90) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and guard Yuliya Berezinets (172-90) who added 15 points during the contest. Lemminkainen - VICI-Aistes 53-73

One of the most interesting games of round 4 was a derby match between two teams from Lithuania. The game took place in Klaipeda where first ranked VICI-Aistes outleveled host Lemminkainen (2-3) 73-53. The game was mostly controlled by VICI-Aistes. Lemminkainen was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lemminkainen to just 7 points in first quarter. VICI-Aistes held Lemminkainen to an opponent 22.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Lemminkainen 40-27 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. VICI-Aistes players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Lemminkainen's players. Rapla KK - Olimpia 68-72 Hosts were defeated by Belarusian Olimpia GrGAU (3-4) 72-68. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Rapla KK was trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 23-16 charge of Olimpia GrGAU, which allowed them to win the game.
