American Darrick Leonard (190-G-84) had a great game in the last round for Juventus and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 28-year old guard had a double-double of 27 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team beat Jelgava (#5, 1-2) 101-96. Juventus is placed at 3rd position in Baltic League . Juventus is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Leonard had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Juventus' top player in his first season with the team. Darrick Leonard averages just after two games 22.0ppg and 8.5rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old Gytis Sirutavicius (195-SF-83) of second-ranked Lietkabelis. Sirutavicius impressed basketball fans with 32 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he lead Lietkabelis to another comfortable win 95-79 over slightly lower-ranked Juventus (#3, 1-1) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Lietkabelis consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Sirutavicius is a newcomer at Lietkabelis and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) of top-ranked Rudupis. Orelikas scored 21 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Rudupis, leading his team to a 88-57 easy win against #2 ranked Barons kvartals. Rudupis started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Orelikas turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Orelikas has a great season in Baltic League. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.8ppg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Vadim Matyukevych (208-C-80) of Barsy Atyrau - 19 points and 14 rebounds
5. Martynas Andriukaitis (204-F-81) of Lietkabelis - 31 points and 8 rebounds
6. Pavels Veselovs (207-F/C-83) of Valmiera - 24 points and 7 rebounds
7. Arnold Arnold (208-C-86) of TTU - 19 points and 11 rebounds
8. Aurimas Kieza (202-PF-82) of Siauliai - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Edgaras Zelionis (207-F-89) of Barsy Atyrau - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Zygimantas Janavicius (192-G-89) of Rudupis - 7 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
