The Regular Season in Baltic League just started.

Tim-Scuf - Victoria 79-61
The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-61. Tim-Scuf forced 26 Victoria-UOR turnovers and outrebounded them 44-29 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Krystyna Matsko (182-91) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Nataliya Skorbatyuk (183-95) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Tim-Scuf's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Ksenija Voishal (182-94) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Maryia Rashchenia (185-92) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Victoria-UOR.

Berezina - Tsmoki-Minsk 36-66

It looked good early as Berezina-RCOR took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tsmoki-Minsk had a 18-10 second period charge getting the lead and Berezina-RCOR was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 36-66. Tsmoki-Minsk dominated on the defensive end, holding Berezina-RCOR to just 2 points in fourth quarter and to 10 points in second half. Tsmoki-Minsk dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Berezina-RCOR's 20. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 22 Berezina-RCOR turnovers and outrebounded them 43-25 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Katsiaryna Urbanovich (185-93) stepped up and scored 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Estonian guard Kati Rausberg (172-89, college: Eckerd) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Nikolay Buzlyakov felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side guard Irina Chubkavets (184-91) responded with 13 points and forward Viktoriya Pankova (184-93) scored 8 points.

Forward Ieva Simkute (192-F-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Suduva, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage). The Second Stage in Baltic League just ended. The game between Top Four teams took place in Grodno. Belarusian host Olimpia GrGAU (1-5) was smashed by Lithuanian Suduva (4-2) 71-51. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-51.
