Talented Lithuanian Augustas Peciukevicius (192-G-91) had a very impressive game in the last round for Parnu and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 21-year old guard had the game-high 26 points adding seven rebounds and seven assists for Parnu in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Valmiera (#3, 3-4) 94-91. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Parnu maintains the 4th position in Baltic League . Parnu is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. Peciukevicius turned to be Parnu's top player in his first season with the team. Augustas Peciukevicius averages this season 17.0ppg and 5.2apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Parnu's star - 23-year old center Rain Raadik (208-C-89). Raadik impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Parnu to edge slightly higher-ranked Valmiera (#3, 3-4) by 3 points 94-91. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Parnu consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Raadik is a newcomer at Parnu and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.2ppg (#3). He also registered 14.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Janis Berzins (202-F-93, agency: Players Group) of Valmiera (#3). Berzins showcased his all-around game by recording 10 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Berzins' great performance Valmiera lost 91-94 to #4 ranked Parnu. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Valmiera ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Berzins could help Valmiera to bring them higher in the standings. Berzins has a great season in Baltic League. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.7rpg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ivan Nelyubov (207-C-88) of TU/Rock - 22 points and 6 rebounds
5. Karolis Petrukonis (212-C-87) of Juventus - 16 points and 6 rebounds
6. Darrick Leonard (190-G-84) of Juventus - 11 points and 10 rebounds
7. Ingus Jakovics (185-PG-93) of Liepaja - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Edvinas Jezukevicius (207-C-90) of Sakalai - 19 points and 5 rebounds
9. Mindaugas Girdziunas (188-G-89) of Nevezis - 17 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Osvaldas Matulionis (200-F-91) of Parnu - 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
