Petrukonis
25-year old center Karolis Petrukonis (212-C-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for Juventus and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Liepaja (#5, 2-7) with 16-point margin 84-68. Juventus is placed at 3rd position in Baltic League . Juventus is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. It's Petrukonis' second year at Juventus and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Karolis Petrukonis averages this season 10.8ppg and 5.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Marc Campbell (180-G-86) of Tln Kalev. He is American-Italian guard in his first season at Tln Kalev. In the last game Campbell recorded impressive 27 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Tln Kalev lost that game 85-95 to the higher-ranked Tarvas (#2, 5-3). Tln Kalev managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Tln Kalev managed to get this year. Campbell is a newcomer at Tln Kalev and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Reimo Tamm (185-PG-84) of league's second-best Tarvas. Tamm scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of Tarvas, leading his team to a 95-85 win against the lower-ranked Tln Kalev (#6, 1-7). Tarvas needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 3 lost games. Tamm has a great season in Baltic League. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.8ppg (best scorer) and assists with 4.3apg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Juris Umbrasko (197-G/F-79) of Tarvas - 23 points and 6 rebounds
5. Folarin Campbell (192-G-86) of Ventspils - 13 points and 8 rebounds
6. Salvis Metra (195-G/F-84) of Barons kvartals - 13 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Sarunas Vingelis (191-G-89) of LSU-Baltai - 24 points and 2 assists
8. Darius Griskenas (194-F-84) of Lietkabelis - 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Jokubas Gintvainis (191-SF-94) of Sakalai - 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Zygimantas Janavicius (192-G-89) of Rudupis - 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
