38-year old guard Valmo Kriisa (190-G-74) had a great game in the last round for league's best team TU/Rock and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had the game-high 24 points adding five rebounds and eight assists for TU/Rock in his team's victory, helping them to crush Juventus (#3, 5-5) with 17-point margin 114-97. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed TU/Rock to consolidate first place in the Baltic League . TU/Rock has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. In the team's last game Kriisa had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Valmo Kriisa averages this season 7.2ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Rain Raadik (208-C-89) of Parnu. He is a center in his first season at Parnu. In the last game Raadik recorded impressive 26 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Parnu lost that game 73-102 to league's leader Pieno Zvaigzdes (#1, 8-0). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Parnu still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Parnu managed to get this year. Raadik is a newcomer at Parnu and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.4ppg (#3). He also registered 12.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Ike Okoye (206-F) of Tln Kalev (#6). Okoye scored 23 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Okoye's great performance Tln Kalev lost 72-89 to the higher-ranked Barons kvartals (#3, 5-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Tln Kalev can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-9 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Okoye he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Okoye has individually a great season in Baltic League. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 9.9rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Maris Gulbis (202-F-85) of Barons kvartals - 28 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Evaldas Kairys (207-PF-90) of Pieno Zvaigzdes - 24 points and 5 rebounds
6. Kiur Akenparg (190-F-88) of TTU - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Tauras Jogela (203-F-93) of Lietkabelis - 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Erik Keedus (198-F-90) of TTU - 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) of Rudupis - 18 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Martins Laksa (200-SF-90) of Ventspils - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
