Kalev/Cramo - Jelgava 105-65

The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 105-65. Kalev/Cramo dominated on the defensive end, holding Jelgava to just 7 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Jelgava's 38. Kalev/Cramo forced 19 Jelgava turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kalev/Cramo made 10 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Ty Abbott (192-88, college: Arizona St.) who led the winners and scored 28 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) accounted for 18 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winning side. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Guard Kristaps Kanbergs (190-88) came up with 12 points and 4 assists and American power forward Keith Chamberlain (204-87, college: Grinnell) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Jelgava in the defeat. Jelgava's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.

Rudupis - Naglis Palangos 93-79

The game was mostly controlled by Rudupis. Naglis Palangos managed to win fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for swingman Gediminas Orelikas (200-90) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Arminas Urbutis (205-86, college: Hofstra) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Modestas Kumpys (192-91) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Mantas Mockevicius (189-93, college: Olney Central CC) added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Naglis Palangos. Five Rudupis and four Naglis Palangos players scored in double figures.

Parnu - Barons kvartals 52-61

It looked good early as KK Parnu took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Barons kvartals had a 17-8 second period charge getting the lead and KK Parnu was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 52-61. They outrebounded KK Parnu 45-34 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds. Latvian forward Maris Gulbis (202-85, agency: Players Group) chipped in 9 points. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Rannar Raap (188-92) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and center Rain Raadik (208-89) added 9 points and 13 rebounds respectively.

Siauliai - Sakalai 90-73

The game without a history. Siauliai led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Sakalai's 42. They outrebounded Sakalai 39-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Aurimas Kieza (202-82, college: Hofstra) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Center Ovidijus Galdikas (217-88) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Siauliai players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Aivaras Kiausas (199-80) with 19 points and center Ignas Ramasauskas (211-93) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds.

It was a very close game until the last quarter, when BC Rakvere's pressure prevailed and they won that period 30-16 extending their advantage to 19 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Barsy Atyrau's 44. Barsy Atyrau was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Reimo Tamm (185-84) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. American forward A.J. Stewart (205-88, college: Texas St.) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Lithuanian forward Edgaras Zelionis (207-89) answered with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Russian point guard Andrey Endropov (184-78) added 15 points in the effort for Barsy Atyrau. Davis Rozitis (213-C-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for Liepaja/Triobet and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for round 2. BC Rakvere Tarvas (Alexela KML) inked 27-year old American forward Justin Baker (203-109kg-89, college: Utah Valley). He played in the summer at Logan Thunder in Australia QBL.
