Frank Elegar
26-year old center Frank Elegar (208-C-86) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Kalev/Cramo and receives a Player of the Week award for round 3 (Top 16).
He had a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Jelgava (#3, 0-2) with 40-point margin 105-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Kalev/Cramo maintains the 2nd position in Baltic League . They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the Top 16 and Kalev/Cramo won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Elegar turned to be Kalev/Cramo's top player in his first season with the team. Frank Elegar averages this season 13.1ppg and 8.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Tyler Cain (203-F-88) of top-ranked Barons kvartals. He is American forward in his first season at Barons kvartals. In the last game Cain recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 19 rebounds. Of course Barons kvartals cruised to a 61-52 relatively comfortable win over Parnu (0-2). His team has extremely good start of the Top 16. They won both games so far. However the Top 16 is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Cain is a newcomer at Barons kvartals and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Kalev/Cramo's star - guard Ty Abbott (192-G-88). Abbott scored 28 points. He was another key player of Kalev/Cramo, helping his team with a 105-65 easy win against #3 ranked Jelgava in a game of the week. Kalev/Cramo has a very good start of the Top 16. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Abbott also has a very good start of the Top 16 with very strong stats. Abbott has a very solid season. In 7 games in Baltic League he scored 4.9ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Reimo Tamm (185-PG-84) of Tarvas - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Aurimas Kieza (202-PF-82) of Siauliai - 22 points and 13 rebounds
6. A.J. Stewart (205-F-88) of Tarvas - 19 points and 7 rebounds
7. Bamba Fall (217-C-86) of Kalev/Cramo - 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Gert Dorbek (193-SG-85) of Kalev/Cramo - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Brandis Raley-Ross (188-G-87) of Tarvas - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Rannar Raap (188-G/F-92) of Parnu - 20 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
