26-year old guard Arturas Milaknis (195-G-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Rudupis and receives a Player of the Week award for round 7 (Top 16).
He had the game-high 28 points adding three rebounds and four assists for Rudupis in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Jelgava (#3, 2-4) with 33-point margin 109-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Rudupis maintains the 2nd position in Baltic League . They are still close to the very top. Rudupis would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Milaknis had a remarkable seven three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Rudupis' top player in his first season with the team. Arturas Milaknis averages this season 13.6ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Aivaras Kiausas (199-F-80) of Sakalai. He is a forward in his second season at Sakalai. In the last game Kiausas recorded impressive 21 points and 5 rebounds. Bad luck as Sakalai lost that game 74-92 to slightly higher-ranked Siauliai (#2, 4-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Sakalai still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Kiausas is well-known at Sakalai and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Nerijus Varnelis (201-F-78) of league's leader Juventus. Varnelis scored 27 points. Despite Varnelis' great performance Juventus lost 86-92in overtime to #2 ranked Pieno Zvaigzdes. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Juventus had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 1st lost game is hopefully really an accident. Varnelis' teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Varnelis has a very solid season. In 14 games in Baltic League he scored 12.1ppg. He also has 6.6rpg, FGP: 53.3% and 3PT: 43.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Janis Berzins (202-F-93) of Valmiera - 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Joosep Toome (208-C-85) of TU/Rock - 22 points and 4 rebounds
6. Arturs Duselis (201-F-89) of Jelgava - 18 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Arnas Labuckas (203-F-87) of Rudupis - 21 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Saulius Kuzminskas (210-C/F-82) of Siauliai - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Gediminas Orelikas (200-G/F-90) of Rudupis - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Tyler Cain (203-F-88) of Barons kvartals - 14 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
