Kalev/Cramo - Vytautas 94-88

Kalev/Cramo outgunned Vytautas to gain a 6-point lead before the return leg of the semifinal series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Vytautas won third quarter 26-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kalev/Cramo shot 61.1 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Vytautas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian-Bulgarian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-82, agency: 011 Sports) stepped up and scored 17 points and 7 assists for the winners and American-Bulgarian power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). At the losing side guard Tomas Delininkaitis (190-82) responded with 24 points and forward Tadas Klimavicius (204-82) scored 18 points. Five Kalev/Cramo and four Vytautas players scored in double figures.

Valmiera/ORDO (LBL) signed 20-year old guard Eduards Hazners (192-97). He played last season at VEF Riga in the LBL. In 14 games he had 6.3ppg and 2.0rpg. Valmiera/ORDO (LBL) agreed terms with Latvian forward Anrijs Miska (203). He played last season at Viten Getafe Fuenlabrada in Spanish EBA league. In 16 games he had just 2.3ppg and 1.5rpg. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U18 Honorable Mention in 2017. The previous (15-16) season Miska was tested by Real Madrid (Spain) in Spanish league. Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys (LKL) signed 26-year old American guard Ryan Harrow (188-73kg-91, college: Georgia State, agency: 3Eye). He played last season at Rosa in Polish PLK league. In 12 games he had 15.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 4.3apg. Harrow also played that season for VL Pesaro in Italian Serie A where in 20 games he recorded 10.2ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.0apg and 1.4spg.
