TEO wins the title again - Apr 18, 2010

TEO - Lemminkainen 70:56

TEO became the winner of the Baltic League Play-offs for another time. Season 2009-2010 saw them beating Lemminkainen in the Final game of the League. The favorites and undefeated team celebrated 70:56 victory to triumph in the tournament.
TEO opened the game with 18:13 in the opening quarter and kept the difference at the halftime. Both teams nailed 15 points each in the second period as TEO enjoyed 33:28 halftime advantage. In the third period TEO pushed the tempo and produced 21-14 in the frame. They never looked behind after and looked confident in the court of Klaipeda. The Lithuanian Champion also added 16-14 in the last frame to lift up the title up in the air.
Harding and Jurgita Streimikyte (191-F-72)-Virbickiene top-scored for the winners with 16 points each. Milda Sauliute (175-G-81) followed them with 9, while Quanitra Hollingsworth (196-C-88, college: Va Commonwealth) posted 8. Marina Solopova (180-G/F-90) responded with 20 points in the losing effort and Rita Milieskiene (175-G-78) scored 14. Lina Pikciute (192-F-90) and Irma Raugaite (176-G-84) delivered 8 points apiece.
Minsk meanwhile finished on the third place of the tournament. In the game for the third place they beat another team from Belarus Berezina 82:69
