VICI Aistes triumph at Baltic League 2011/2012 campaign. In the Final game the Lithuanian team overcame Gorizont 79:66.
The game was mostly controlled by VICI Aistes. Gorizont managed to win second period 27-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-20 free shots during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Tatsiana Likhtarovich (179-G/F-88, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Lina Pikciute contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. VICI Aistes' coach Mantas Sernius used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tatyana Troina (188-F-81, college: S.Carolina) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (179-F-87) added 13 points in the effort for Gorizont.
In the game for the third place Olimpia overcame Minsk-2006 76:65. Alina Iordan stepped up and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Anna Pokoiova (188-F-87, agency: Promotex) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Volha Istseliatsova responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Zhanna Horodetskaya (180-G-79) scored 14 points.

Gorizont - Minsk-2006 61-57

Gorizont edged Minsk-2006 to advance to the Final. They took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Minsk-2006 won third quarter 21-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gorizont made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Minsk-2006 turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by Minsk-2006 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Russian-Ukrainian center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (200-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. Guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Volha Istseliatsova (189-88) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Russian-Belarusian guard Zhanna Horodetskaya (180-79) added 14 points in the effort for Minsk-2006.

VICI overcame Olimpia 83:72 to enter the Final. It looked good early as Olimpia GrGAU took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then VICI Aistes took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 11 points. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Latvian power forward Aija Putnina (192-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) stepped up and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and guard Milda Sauliute (175-81) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Katsiaryna Kashlei (171-90) responded with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Russian-Ukrainian center Lyubov Alyoshkina (203-81) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five VICI Aistes and four Olimpia GrGAU players scored in double figures. Olimpia GrGAU's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
