The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Chalon/Saor as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Chalon/Saor smashed 15th ranked Hyeres-Toulon at home 104-76. The game was mostly controlled by Chalon/Saor. Hyeres-Toulon managed to win third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chalon/Saor (12-2) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Gravelines. Hyeres-Toulon lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Poitiers. Hyeres-Toulon will play next round against Cholet trying to get back on the winning streak.
