No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked VSE Praha (3-3) defeated at home 11th ranked Aldast Strakonice (1-5) 72-65 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 27-13 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. International guard Darina Johnova (178-85) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Baendu Lowenthal (183-88, college: Fairfield) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. VSE Praha's coach Jiri Barta used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was center Zora Jileckova (194-81) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Slovakian center Viera Libicova (190-80) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. VSE Praha have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Loser Aldast Strakonice dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Lokomotiva.
