Mobis Phoebus used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Busan 101-69. Mobis Phoebus outrebounded Sonic Boom KT 52-27 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Mobis Phoebus especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 22 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side and American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) accounted for 26 points and 5 rebounds. Five Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) came up with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Hongseok Yang (199-97) added 11 points respectively for Sonic Boom KT in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
