Regular Season Round 5: SK Knights - Mobis Phoebus 86-76

The most surprising game was the first loss of Mobis Phoebus (6-1) in Seoul on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked SK Knights (4-3) 86-76. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. SK Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Leon Williams (203-86, college: Ohio) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. American-Dominican guard ODarien Bassett (189-86, college: Troy) contributed with 18 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four SK Knights players scored in double figures. SK Knights' coach Kyungeun Moon used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and the former international power forward Ji-Hoon Ham (198-84) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Mobis Phoebus. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Mobis Phoebus at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. SK Knights is looking forward to face Anyang KGC (#6) at home in the next round. Mobis Phoebus will play against the league's second-placed ET Land Elephants (#2) in Inchon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
