The most exciting game of round 7 in the KBL took place in Ulsan. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed LG Sakers (5-4) to first ranked Mobis Phoebus (8-1) 77-75 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of LG Sakers. American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) chipped in 20 points. Central African-American power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and American point guard Joshia Gray (185-93, college: LSU) added 23 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mobis Phoebus have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. LG Sakers at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Anyang KGC. Mobis Phoebus are looking forward to face Samsung Thunders (#8) in Seoul in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LG Sakers will play at home against Goyang Orions and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
