Regular Season Round 9: Mobis Phoebus - DB Promy 109-83

KBL top team - Mobis Phoebus (9-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked DB Promy (4-9) in Ulsan 109-83. Mobis Phoebus dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to DB Promy's 38. They outrebounded DB Promy 50-36 including 35 on the defensive glass. Mobis Phoebus players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) nailed a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 4 assists (on 16-of-18 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) accounted for 21 points and 6 assists. Four Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. American guard Marcus Foster (190-95, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists and center Yu-Seong Ho (199-88) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for DB Promy in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mobis Phoebus maintains first place with 9-3 record. DB Promy at the other side keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. Mobis Phoebus will play against SK Knights (#4) in Seoul in the next round. DB Promy will play on the road against Anyang KGC (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
