Regular Season Round 12: Goyang Orions - Mobis Phoebus 82-93

KBL top team - Mobis Phoebus (13-3) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat ninth ranked Goyang Orions (5-12) in Daegu 93-82. Mobis Phoebus shot 62.5 percent from the field. Mobis Phoebus outrebounded Goyang Orions 39-27 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international power forward Ji-Hoon Ham (198-84) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and his fellow American import point guard JeQuan Lewis (185-94, college: VCU) added 27 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mobis Phoebus have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-3 record. Goyang Orions at the other side keep the ninth place with 12 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will meet LG Sakers (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Goyang Orions will play against SK Knights (#7) in Seoul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
