An interesting game for Mobis Phoebus (23-5) which hosted in Ulsan 4th ranked LG Sakers (14-14). First ranked Mobis Phoebus had an easy win 83-67. Mobis Phoebus outrebounded LG Sakers 46-31 including a 38-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) who added 29 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Central African-American power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds and American point guard Joshia Gray (185-93, college: LSU) scored 15 points and 4 steals. LG Sakers' coach Young-Min Kim rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Mobis Phoebus have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-5 record. LG Sakers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with DB Promy. Mobis Phoebus will play against Goyang Orions (#8) in Daegu in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LG Sakers will play at home against the league's second-placed KT Sonicboom (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
