Regular Season Round 35: Mobis Phoebus - Anyang KGC 82-85

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Mobis Phoebus (35-11) in Ulsan on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by eighth ranked Anyang KGC (20-26) 85-82. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Mobis Phoebus. They outrebounded Mobis Phoebus 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Canadian guard Justin Edwards (190-92, college: Kansas St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) answered with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 24 points in the effort for Mobis Phoebus. Four Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. Anyang KGC maintains eighth place with 20-26 record. Mobis Phoebus at the other side still keep top position with 11 games lost. Anyang KGC are looking forward to face higher ranked LG Sakers (#4) in Changwon in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mobis Phoebus will play at home against Goyang Orions and are hoping to win this game.
