Hapoel Holon had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 57.7 percentage. Hapoel Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Darion Atkins (203-92, college: Virginia) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Scottie Reynolds (185-87, college: Villanova, agency: Wasserman) helped adding 21 points and 6 assists. Five Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: GMU) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Adam Ariel (192-94) scored 18 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
