Regular Season Round 16: Laguneros - Huracanes 76-90

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Huracanes (8-5) defeated 8th ranked Laguneros (1-16) in Torreon 90-76 on Tuesday. Strangely Laguneros outrebounded Huracanes 45-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. American players dominated also this game. Quite impressive performance for power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds. Aaron Harper (203-81, college: Ole Miss) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Trent Steen (203, college: UAPB, agency: One Motive Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Decensae White (198-88, college: San Francisco St.) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Laguneros. Huracanes have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lenadores. Laguneros lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
