Bryon Allen
American Guard Bryon Allen (193-G-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for CEZ Nymburk, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 24-year old player was the main contributor (33 points, five rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Banvit BK (#2, 8-2) 86-75. CEZ Nymburk maintains the 3rd position in their group in Basketball Champions League group A. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. CEZ Nymburk will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Allen had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be CEZ Nymburk's top player in his first season with the team. Bryon Allen averages this season 15.1ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 26-year old American Patrick Richard (196-G/F-90, agency: Inception Sports) of Maccabi Rishon. Richard had a very good evening with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Maccabi Rishon cruised to a 78-69 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (#4, 6-4). Maccabi Rishon's 7th position in group B has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Richard is a newcomer at Maccabi Rishon, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Rolandas Zakis (206-F/C-87) of Ventspils (#5). Zakis scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of Ventspils, leading his team to a 95-86 win against slightly lower-ranked Usak (#7, 3-7). Ventspils needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in group C. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Zakis has a very solid season. In 10 games in Basketball Champions League he scored 10.0ppg. He also has 7.6rpg and FGP: 53.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Martin Zeno (196-G-85) of Oradea - 28 points and 6 rebounds
5. Daniel Mullings (188-G-91) of Kataja Basket - 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Keith Clanton (205-C/F-90) of PAOK - 15 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
7. DaJuan Summers (203-F-88) of Pinar Karsiyaka - 25 points and 6 rebounds
8. Stefan Bircevic (210-F/C-89) of Partizan - 19 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Nick Minnerath (207-PF-88) of Avtodor - 25 points and 11 rebounds
10. Dee Bost (188-PG-89) of Monaco - 25 points and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
