Luka Zoric
KK Cibona VIP Zagreb (A1) agreed terms with 32-year old Croatian international center Luka Zoric (211-103kg-84). It is actually his comeback to Cibona as he has played here before. Zoric already started the season at Betis Energia Plus Sevilla in Spanish Liga Endesa, but left the team in Nov.'16. In 8 games he had 12.5ppg and 4.6rpg this season. The last season Zoric played at Cedevita. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 18 A1 games he recorded 9.6ppg and 4.7rpg. Zoric helped them to win the league title (twice) (also twice). He also played 16 games in Euroleague where he averaged 5.3ppg and 2.1rpg. Zoric also played 18 games in ABA League where he got 4.9ppg and 3.4rpg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Zoric was voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish ACB Honorable Mention back in 2012.
He has been also a member of Croatian international program for some years. Zoric has regularly played for Croatian senior team since 2007 and previously for U18 National Team in 2002.
He represented Croatia at the European Championships last year.
Zoric is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Germany, Italy, Slovenia (Un.Olimpija and Postojna), Turkey (Fenerbahce) and Croatia (KK Zagreb, Jolly, Dubrava, KK Dubrovnik and KK Zabok) and Spain (Unicaja Malaga).
