Luksa Andric
Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (A Division) agreed terms with 31-year old Croatian ex-international center Luksa Andric (208-118kg-85, agency: BeoBasket). He already started the season at ICL Manresa in Spanish Liga Endesa, but left the team in Dec.'16. In 11 games he had 7.3ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.0apg this season.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Andric won Kazakhstan League championship title in 2015. He was selected to Adriatic League All-Star Game back in 2008.
Andric was also a member of Croatian international program for some years. He played for Croatian Senior National Team between 2007 and 2014 and previously for U21 National Team in 2004.
Andric represented Croatia at the European Championships in Slovenia three years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 2.2ppg, 1.0rpg.
Andric is quite experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Andric has played previously professionally in Italy, Turkey (Turk Telekom and Galatasaray), Croatia (Cibona, Dubrava, Cedevita and KK Dubrovnik) and Kazakhstan (Astana).
He could be described: A promising inside payer, who has long arms and scoring mentality. Can grab rebounds and defend in the middle, but he's also a very good shooter from outside, and he could stabily move to the 4 position soon.
