Chris Kramer
28-year old guard Chris Kramer (191-G-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked EWE Baskets and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.
He recorded a triple-double of 16 points adding also 10 rebounds and 13 assists, while his team outclassed Usak (#6, 4-8) with 29-point margin 106-77. EWE Baskets is placed at 2nd position in their group in Basketball Champions League group C. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. EWE Baskets will need more victories to improve their 8-4 record. In the team's last game Kramer had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at EWE Baskets, through which he has constantly improved. Chris Kramer averages this season 7.5ppg and 5.2apg.

Second best performed player last round was Thaddus McFadden (188-G-87, agency: Higher Vision Sports) of PAOK. He is American guard in his first season at PAOK. In the last game McFadden recorded impressive 31 points and 6 rebounds. Of course PAOK cruised to a 82-73 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Neptunas (#3, 8-4). PAOK's 5th position in group C has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. McFadden is a newcomer at PAOK and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Jevohn Shepherd (196-G/F-86) of Spirou (#6). Shepherd got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Shepherd's great performance Spirou lost 63-65 to the higher-ranked Partizan (#2, 8-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Spirou not to end season at such low position in group E, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Shepherd could try to bring Spirou's a little bit higher in the standings. Shepherd has a very solid season. In 9 games in Basketball Champions League he scored 10.9ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Shavon Shields (201-G-94) of Fraport SKY - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Melvin Ejim (200-F-91) of Umana VE - 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Larry Drew II (188-PG-90) of Neptunas - 31 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Daniel Bejarano (193-G-91) of Khimik - 19 points and 9 rebounds
8. A.J. English (192-G-92) of Fraport SKY - 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Vlatko Cancar (201-SF-97) of Mega Leks - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Zach Auguste (208-C-93) of Usak - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
