Gordon
BC Partizan NiS Beograd (KLS) inked 30-year old American swingman Jamont Gordon (193-103kg-87, college: Mississippi State). He played most recently at Tofas in Turkish TBL league. In 8 games he averaged 7.6ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.6apg in 2014-15 season.
The previous (13-14) season Gordon played at Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul (also in TBL) where in 5 games he had 11.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.8apg and 1.4spg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup final. Gordon also played 4 games in Euroleague where he recorded 11.3ppg, 4.0rpg and 4.8apg.
Among other achievements he won Turkish League championship title in 2013. Gordon received also Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League 1st Team award back in 2013.
He has played also professionally in Croatia (Cibona), Italy (Fortituto Kontatto Bologna) and Russia (CSKA Moscow).
Gordon attended Mississippi State until 2008 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
His game is described as: A left handed shooter who is very strong and athletic. Showed unexpected scoring skills and leadership in his first pro experience abroad, and his long arms and quick feet and could allow him to became a factor defensively very soon. Needs to improve his decision making, however, because he tends to play too much out of control.
