Dinamo Sassari cruised past CEZ Nymburk in the opener. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-72. It was a very good performance for Croatian point guard Rok Stipcevic (185-86, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 assists. American guard Trevor Lacey (190-91, college: N.Carolina St.) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Cuban forward Howard Sant-Roos (200-91) answered with 15 points and 4 assists and American forward Diamon Simpson (204-87, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for CEZ Nymburk. Maccabi Rishon - Ludwigsburg 66-83

Ludwigsburg made a huge step towards playoffs as they rallied past Maccabi Rishon in Israel. The game was mostly controlled by EnBW Ludwigsburg. Maccabi Rishon managed to win second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. EnBW Ludwigsburg made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Maccabi Rishon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Maccabi Rishon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds. American-German swingman Chad Toppert (199-85, college: N.Mexico) contributed with 20 points (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) for the winners. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. American swingman Patrick Richard (196-90, college: McNeese St., agency: Inception Sports) answered with 14 points and point guard Avi Ben-Chimol (194-85) added 9 points and 7 assists in the effort for Maccabi Rishon. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
