Monaco outgunned AEK Athens to reach quarterfinals. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-20 AEK Athens' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 95-87 at the end of the game. Monaco made 28-of-34 charity shots (82.4 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by AEK Athens helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Jamal Shuler (191-86) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Umana Reyer upset Scandone Avellino to enter quarterfinals. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Scandone AV won third quarter 22-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Georgian point guard Marquez Haynes (191-86, college: Texas Arlington) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 5 rebounds. Canadian-Nigerian forward Melvin Ejim (200-91, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Umana Venezia's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Ukrainian center Kyrylo Fesenko (216-86) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and American-Polish guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) added 15 points in the effort for Scandone AV. Four Scandone AV players scored in double figures.

CB Canarias led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding PAOK to just 6 points in second quarter. CB Canarias made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. PAOK was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Lithuanian forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 assists. American forward Tim Abromaitis (203-89, college: Notre Dame) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Linos-Spyridon Chrysikopoulos (206-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and Latvian swingman Zanis Peiners (203-90) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for PAOK. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
