Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (BSL) landed 31-year old American point guard Dominic Waters (185-82kg-86, college: Portland State, agency: Octagon Europe). He played most recently at Olympiacos in Greek A1 league. Waters managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). In 20 A1 games he averaged 4.5ppg and 2.4apg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Waters also played 21 games in Euroleague where he had 4.1ppg and 1.5apg. The other team he played that season for was MIA-Red October Cantu in Italian Serie A. In 9 games he recorded 14.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 7.6apg and 1.1spg. Waters also spent pre-season at Enisey (VTB) in Russian league that year.
Three years ago (four years after he left the college) Waters was drafted by Grand Rapids Drive (D-League) in third round (49th overall).
He attended Portland State until 2010 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Waters has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
His college team won Big Sky Conference Tournament in 2009.
Waters is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium (VOO Verviers Pepinster and Liege Basket), France, Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Slovenia (Un.Olimpija) and Spain (La ICL Manresa).

PAOK Thessaloniki (A1) signed 26-year old Greek ex-international guard Dimitrios Katsivelis (196-91). He played last season at BK Astana in Kazakhstan National League. In 7 games he had 9.9ppg, 4.6rpg, 6.4apg and 2.6spg. Katsivelis helped them to win the league title (twice).
