Matic Rebec
Enisey Krasnoyarsk (VTB) inked 22-year old Slovenian international point guard Matic Rebec (181-95). He has played for the last two years at Krka in Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. In 33 games he recorded 11.4ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.8apg (top 5) and 1.3spg last season. Rebec helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final. Rebec also played 24 games in ABA League where he averaged 11.2ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.9apg and 1.1spg.
The previous (15-16) season he played at Rogaska (Telemach League) in Slovenia. In 7 games he had very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 2.4rpg, 9.0apg and 3.0spg. Rebec contributed to his team winning the Cup. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Slovenian League All-Star Game.
Among other achievements he won Slovenian U18 ships championship title in 2013. Rebec received also Eurobasket.com All-Slovenian League Most Improved Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U20 1st Team award back in 2014.
He has been also a member of Slovenian international program for some years. Rebec has regularly played for Slovenian senior team since 2014 and previously for U20 National Team in 2014.
He represented Slovenia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 last year. His stats at that event were 6 games: 1.0ppg.
Rebec has played also professionally in Slovenia for Helios.
His game is described as: Promising PG with impressive passing ability and court vision. Great personality, huge upside.
