Antwerp - BC Lulea 83-74

Antwerp beat BC Lulea at home to sweep the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-14. But BC Lulea won second period 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Antwerp Giants looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by BC Lulea helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Jason Clark (188-90, college: Georgetown) scored 23 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Dave Dudzinski (206-92, college: Holy Cross, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) responded with 24 points and 6 assists and Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Bosna-Royal's 24. EnBW Ludwigsburg forced 19 Bosna-Royal turnovers and outrebounded them 38-18 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. 33 personal fouls committed by Bosna-Royal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Justin Sears (203-94, college: Yale) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import forward Elgin Cook (198-93, college: Oregon, agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Serbian-Bosnian swingman Goran Ikonic (196-80, agency: BeoExcell) replied with 16 points and Montenegrin center Milija Mikovic (205-94) added 12 points in the effort for Bosna-Royal. Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (BSL) added to their roster 31-year old Canadian ex-international guard Andrew Rautins (193-86kg-86, college: Syracuse).
