Two games at home court of Gorizont were the last in the series as they won the series 3-1. After the teams exchanged the wins in the first two games, the third game became the most interesting. Gorizont needed overtime to seal 99:96 victory. Trailing 13 points at the halftime, Gorizont produced a 24-13 in the fourth period and then won the extra time 14-11. Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-F/G-88, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with 25 points and Natalia Anufryienka (174-G-85, agency: LBM Management) netted 17. Brooke Queenan (188-F-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Boston Coll.) replied with 29 points, while Chrissy Givens (180-F-85, agency: LBM Management, college: Middle Tenn.St.) had 24 points and 10 rebounds. In Game 4 Gorizont triumphed with 86:72 victory. The last quarter became decisive in the game as the hosts needed 30-18 for the final spurt. Aleksandra Khomenchuk (203-C-89) erupted with 27 points and 19 rebounds, while Natalia Anufryienka added 22. Brooke Queenan answered with 22 points in the losing effort. |
