Olimpia - Tsmoki-Minsk 70-62 (3-2)

Olimpia became the Champion in the country. They overcame Minsk 70:62 in the decisive game. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-62. Olimpia GrGAU outrebounded Tsmoki-Minsk 40-23 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Nadzeya Drozd (174-83) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and Russian-Ukrainian center Lyubov Alyoshkina (203-81) chipped in 8 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. International power forward Volha Istseliatsova (189-88) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Zhanna Horodetskaya (180-79) scored 19 points. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Sergey Svetnik rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

BK Gorizont Minsk won the Cup - Dec 23, 2012

BK Gorizont Minsk won the Cup in the country. The team won the Semifinal and the Final game over the rivals to clinch the last trophy in year 2012.
Gorizont overcame Victoria 84:57 in the Semifinal game. Tatsiana Likhtarovich (180-G/F-88, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with 19 points, while Natalia Anufryienka (174-G-85, agency: LBM Management) notched 14. Ksenija Voishal (182-F-94) answered with 14 points and Holubeva Alena scored 13.
Olimpia meanwhile reached the Final after a 75:62 win over Tsmoki-Minsk. Nadzeya Drozd (174-G-83) top-scored for the winners with 26 points, while Filonchyk Maryia had 17. Horodetskaya Zhanna replied with 18 points in defeat.
In the game for the third place Tsmoki-Minsk destroyed Victoria 108:66.
Gorizont won over Olimpia 67:47 in the Final clash. The winners started with 24-6 lead and continued their dominance in the game. They also posted 16-15 in the third period and won the last quarter 14-7. Tatsiana Likhtarovich top-scored for the winners with 19 points and was named MVP of the Cup. Sviatlana Valko (171-G-89) netted 14 and Aleksandra Khomenchuk (202-C-89) brought 13. Aleshkina scored 15 points in the losing effort.
