Berezina and Minsk-2006 won the Quarterfinal openers in the country. Berezina edged BrGU 63:48 as the game was mostly controlled by Berezina-RCOR. BrGU COR Victoria managed to win fourth quarter 16-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BrGU COR Victoria to just 4 points in third quarter. They outrebounded BrGU COR Victoria 43-25 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hanna Kalenta (187-C-94) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Irina Chubkavets (182-G-91) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Julia Avdeythuk (185-F-88) produced 11 points and 7 rebounds for lost side.
Minsk-2006 meanwhile beat Victoria 87:50. Minsk-2006 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Minsk-2006 outrebounded Victoria-UOR 48-37 including a 39-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 2 passes made by Victoria-UOR's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Viktoryia Pantsiukh (185-F-87) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Volha Istseliatsova (189-F/C-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Hanna Tsarevich answered with 11 points and 6 rebounds and forward Anastasiya Haryna (185-F-94) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Victoria-UOR.

Nadezhda Orenburg (PBL) signed 27-year old Belarusian international point guard Alex Bentley (170-90, college: Tarbes). She is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Bentley plays this summer at Connecticut Sun (WNBA). She managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In 16 WNBA games she had 7.6ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.8apg. Hatay Bsb (KBSL) confirmed in their roster 32-year old Belarusian international forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85). She is a dual citizen owning also Kazakhstan passport. Snytsina has played there for the last two seasons. She managed to play in three leagues last year. In 28 KBSL games she recorded 13.3ppg, 4.6rpg, 3.8apg and 1.5spg.
