Belarus won over Hungary in Division B of the U20 European Championship. The team improved to 1-2 record after 70:60 victory at the Classification Round for 9th to 18th Place.
It was Hungary that started with 18:15 in the first period. Both teams nailed another 15 points in the second frame for 3-point advantage at the halftime. Vitali Liutych (198-SG-92) tied the game at 34:34 and he closed a run at 45:L36 midway through the third quarter. Suhaniaka made a free throw to close the third quarter at 50:43. Belrus led 17 points in the middle of the last stanza but satisfied with 10. Adam Kovacs (200-SF-93) and Tursics reduced to 70:60 that was the final result in the game.
Vitali Liutych top-scored for the winners with 25 points, while Anton Papruha (190-PG-93) nailed 12. Andrei Aheyenka (194-SG-92) followed them with 11 points in a win. Mate Meszaros (192-G/F-92) produced 14 points in the losing case and Adam Kovacs added 8.

Grodno-93 - Tsmoki-Minsk 66:74 Tsmoki-Minsk became the Champions of Belarus! The defending champions swept the Finals series against Grodno-93 3-0 adding 74:66 road win. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Grodno-93 won third quarter 24-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
