Mikita Meshcharakou (202-SF-88) and Giorgos Tsiaras (207-C/F-82) join Olimpia Milano for the try-out.

Giorgos Tsiaras played recently in Greece. In 2008 for PAOK Marfin Thessaloniki (A1) he averaged 4.3ppg, 2.5rpg and then in 2009-2010 had 2.2ppg, 1.5rpg. In Feb.'10 moved to CEZ Basketball Nymburk (Czech Rep.-NBL) and showed 3.7ppg, 1.2rpg; EuroCup: 3 games: 0pts. In 2010-2011 he moved to Panionios ON Telecoms Athens (A1, starting five): and showed 9.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.6apg, FGP: 51.7%, 3PT: 39.5%, FT: 73.4%. Last year Giorgos Tsiaras played for Ikaros Kallitheas (A1, starting five) and averaged 4.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.5apg.

Mikita Meshcharakou is the younger brother of the professional player Yahor, is a great small forward who can handle the ball with the same broadmindedness as a point guard. His three point abilities are great and he has a stable, over the average, percentage (around 43%). He has more than one ways to penetrate the basket while his size is helping him many times to get a position in the paint and gain rebounds from even much taller players. In 2007-2010 he played for Georgetown (NCAA) and later moved to Wake Forest (NCAA). In his first season he averaged 4.5ppg, 1.8rpg. Last season his stats read 8.0ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.8apg, FGP: 45.5%, 3PT: 23.4%, FT: 73.8%.
