It was a game for the seventh place at U20 EuroBasket in Debrecen. Ukraine had no troubles to beat Belarus with comfortable 79-62. So Ukraine ended as the 7th ranked team at this event, while Belarus in No.8. Ukraine was up by 3 at the halftime and jumped to plus 8 with one quarter left in the game. They drained 26 points for the last ten minutes, while limiting Belarus to 17, what was enough for comfortable win at the end. Alina Iagupova (186-G-92, agency: LBM Management) once again was a key player in Ukraine and she almost had triple-double in this game: 31 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists (valuation 31). Oleksandra Chek (191-C-93, agency: New Trend Agency) also was great adding 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Miriam Uro-Nile (190-C-94) helped with 9 pts. In defeat, Maryia Papova (186-PF-94) shined with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Maryia Filonchyk (187-PF-92) had 12 points and 6 boards, while Alena Holubeva (176-PG-94) stopped to 8 pts and 5 rebs. Spain defended the title in Derbecen with 59-46 win over Russia. The Bronze belongs to Turkey.

BK Tsmoki-Minsk (Premier League) confirmed in their roster 22-year old forward Yauhenija Styapanava (176-95). She has played there for the last three seasons. Styapanava managed to play in three leagues last year. In 26 Premier League games she had 6.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.5spg. She helped them to win the League title and the cup. Botasspor Adana (KBSL) inked 23-year old Belarusian international forward Maryia Papova (189-85kg-94). She played most recently at Galatasaray in the KBSL. In 30 games she recorded 9.5ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg last season. Papova helped them to make it to the semifinals.
