There were just five rounds played in Regular Season of Premier League and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places.

Premier League top team - Grodno-93 (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Svisloch (0-4) 65-44. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 40-16 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Grodno-93 dominated on the defensive end, holding Svisloch to just 5 points in third quarter. They also forced 24 Svisloch turnovers. The former international forward Kanstantin Yafremov (202-86, agency: Promotex) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 6 rebounds. point guard Artem Malkov (185-88) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Pavel Shuleyko (200-88) answered with 10 points for Svisloch. Grodno-93 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-0 record. Svisloch at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Grodno-93 are looking forward to face Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Svisloch will play at home against Impuls BGUIR (#5) in Minsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) stepped up and scored 29 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Sergei Miakinin chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Vadzim Haidukevich (193-93) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Borisfen's coach Rostislav Vergun rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sozh Gomel maintains second place with 4-1 record having just -1 point less than leader Grodno-93. Newly promoted Borisfen keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Sozh Gomel will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Borisfen will play on the road against Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Henadziy Zakhar came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds for Impuls BGUIR in the defeat. Rubon have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 3-1 record behind leader Grodno-93. Impuls BGUIR lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with three games lost. Rubon will meet at home league's leader Grodno-93 in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Impuls BGUIR will play against Svisloch (#7) in Osipovichi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.



Borisfen - Sozh Gomel 75-83

Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series.
