Five players scored in double digits as Gravelines edge Tsmoki-Minsk. The French side celebrated a 96:63 win in their opener of EuroChallenge in front of 2500 local fans. Gravelines opened the game with 21-16 surge but had difficulties to win the first half. The Belarus Champion bounced back with 19-15 surge in the second frame and Lashkevich reduced to 36:35 after two quarters. The second half however was a nightmare for the guests. They won the third period 26-13 and erupted with 34-15 in the last quarter. Ousmane Camara (202-C-89) and Pustahvar were the last players to score for their teams. Abdoulaye M'Baye (189-PG-88) paced all the winners with 23 points and Dwight Buycks (190-PG-89, college: Marquette) as well as Ousmane Camara had 14 each. Ludovic Vaty (206-C-88, college: Moraine Valley CC) and Aldo Curti (180-PG-87) followed them with 11 points each. Aliaksandr Kudrautsau (190-SG-80) notched 12 and Dzianis Korshuk (200-PF-78) scored 11.

After the two home victories Sozh Gomel lost in Game 3 77:79. Oleksandr Dolenko (191-PG-90) helped adding 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was Sergei Dadukin with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the former Siarhei Charykau scored 20 points and 5 assists. In Game 4 Sozh Gomel grabbed an 88:86 win and won the series. Svisloch was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Sergei Dadukin who led his team to a victory with 32 points and 8 rebounds. Kiril Sitnik (190-G-89) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Oleksandr Dolenko answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ilya Sharipov (198-G-91) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Svisloch. Tsmoki-Minsk became the Champions of Belarus! The defending champions swept the Finals series against Grodno-93 3-0 adding 74:66 road win.
