Very significant was Sozh Gomel's (#2, 5-1) victory against 4th placed Tsmoki-Minsk II (3-3) 87-61. The game without a history. Sozh Gomel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sozh Gomel forced 31 Tsmoki-Minsk II turnovers. Strangely Tsmoki-Minsk II outrebounded Sozh Gomel 40-28 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Tsmoki-Minsk II helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 6 steals. Ukrainian forward Ivan Kaliayev (201-87) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side forward Aliaksandr Semianiuk (207-93) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk II's coach Tadas Stockus gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Sozh Gomel have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-1 record behind leader Grodno-93. Tsmoki-Minsk II at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. Sozh Gomel are looking forward to face Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tsmoki-Minsk II will play on the road against Svisloch in Osipovichi and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.

Henadziy Zakhar (198-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for Impuls BGUIR in the defeat. Impuls BGUIR's coach Fedor Rodenko already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated Grodno-93 have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Impuls BGUIR lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Borisfen and Svisloch. Grodno-93 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Impuls BGUIR will play at home against Borisfen (#5) in Mogilev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game in Osipovichi was also quite interesting. Third ranked Rubon (4-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Svisloch (1-5). Rubon defeated Svisloch 81-69 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Rubon. Svisloch managed to win second period 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rubon forced 24 Svisloch turnovers. Forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Siarhei Sapegin (195-84) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Maksim Shustau (188-86) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and Aliaksandr Hrumiantsau (205-91) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Tsmoki-Minsk celebrated the ninth consecutive Premier League trophy. They edged Grodno-93 86:79 at home court to complete the sweep of the championship series.
